The Role Reporting to the VP of Global Managed Services, the Product Innovation leader oversees the design and launch of new GMS products, their implementation and transition. They own the Roadmap for GMS products and portfolio strategy. This leader works closely with Architecture, Operations and Digital Services to develop and maintain best-in-class globally consistent service offerings—interaction of GMS with Equinix general processes and Q2C to ensure alignment of new products with business functions. They drive staged rollouts and enhancement plans for further global products. Responsibilities: Product Portfolio Management & Development Look externally to anticipate customer needs, understand the evolving competitive landscape, and use this knowledge to create the Platform Equinix experience most relevant to customers Leadership of global product life cycle management for introduction, evolution, as a transition (all activities related to the product development process: discovery, design, development, deployment). Project Management Effective resource management to ensure new product portfolio is launched on time and budget Flexibility, agility and collaboration to ensure virtual teams and resources are available to support platform and portfolio rollout and transformation Prioritize and focus groups on the most important work Understand and implement change requirements, knowing when to push back constructively Partner & Alliance Management Caring for the relationship with the technology partners and the global alliances to ensure better offerings, consistent relationship underpinning for new services Issue Resolution Displays openness to new ideas and perspectives Is creative and comfortable taking risks Works to achieve consensus through collaboration Demonstrates agility; fails fast, learns from experiences, recovers quickly and moves forward It makes people feel safe that they belong and they matter Models working in a physically, mentally & emotionally sound way Knowledge and Experience: 15+ years experience in Managed Services and leadership roles or equivalent knowledge; 10+ years in Product Management roles or equivalent knowledge; Global multi-country experience Fluent in English.
