To deliver Apple-level quality on a global scale, these engineers employ talent and tools to efficiently ingest, process and display sport data. They also integrate at the OS level to build the best user experiences with the Siri ecosystem. We are looking for an outstanding iOS software engineer to join the Apple TV Sports team and help us build the next generation products that change the way millions of fans experience and consume Sports. As an iOS Software Engineer at Apple, you will be owning key modules of the product and be responsible for delivering industry grade quality solutions. We are looking for an outstanding iOS engineer to join the Sports Engineering team and help us build the next generation products that change the way millions of fans experience and consume Sports. As an iOS Engineer at Apple, you will be owning key modules of the product and be responsible for delivering industry grade quality solutions. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications At least 2+ years of engineering experience or relevant internship experience Strong object-oriented programming and design skills Significant experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and the iOS SDK Familiarity with Objective-C and UIKit Experience with SDK development and API design Strong communication skills Passion for quality and attention to detail Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code Track record in debugging and optimizing code for performance using instrumentation Strong working experience with cross organizations and several team across the company Sports enthusiast Description Description In this role you will be working on client side with the iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and tvOS platform teams to build compelling sports experiences. Collaborating with product designers, product managers, and software engineers in a fast paced, technically demanding environment. Building tools and applications to support new video-related, customer-visible features across Apple’s ecosystem. You will be extending the capabilities of the frameworks with many opportunities to design new, innovative APIs that will improve ability of system apps and services to educate users about new features. Developing applications with complex UIs on iOS / macOS. Developing applications and sport experience used by millions of Apple customers around the world. You will be responsible for understanding our customer’s needs from a UI and designing an extraordinary interface that meets that need. Education & Experience Education & Experience BS in Computer Science or relevant industry experience is required. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $116,100 and $208,300 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
