The role of the Renewal Account Manager is to manage an existing list of accounts to achieve the desired retention rates.  This role will be located in the Tempe, AZ office and report into the Manager, Renewal Sales for the Life Science products.  This is a great opportunity for an energetic Renewal Account Manager to effectively renew a portfolio of existing accounts and uncover upsell opportunities for the Life Science product lines. The Renewal Account Manager will have a comprehensive understanding of the Life Sciences business to drive and develop a productive renewals strategy. A requirement is to be competent with SalesForce and demonstrate a high level of professionalism to both clients and work colleagues.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments   4-year undergraduate college degree or relevant work experience2 years of sales or customer success experienceProficiency in Salesforce, MS Teams, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications is preferredExperience:Knowledge of the Life Sciences / pharmaceutical industry in the US.Knowledge of software/information solutions into the Pharmaceutical sectorsAdditional traits being sought:A self-starter who is not afraid of taking initiative and managing an account through the renewal cyclePersistent and motivated to overachieve against a targetExcellent organization and account management skillsGreat organization and time management skillsGeneral knowledge and understanding of utilizing SFDCThe ability to work well within a team environmentDesire to grow in your career and work in a fast pace environmentWhat will you be doing in this role?   To achieve/exceed territory desired retention targets and upselling them when possibleForecast accurately your direct manager with constant communication throughout each monthWork efficiently with customers to identify early renewal risk and mitigate with the assistance of the account team.Be constantly learning and improving your understanding of the relevant set of Clarivate Analytics products that are sold to the user base.Ensure you have a strong understanding of competitor products and services and how we can successfully position ourselves against them.Actively participate in team meetings and events and share your customer, product and sales knowledge with the wider team.Responsible for SalesForce maintenance including notes, forecast categories, quote creation/updates, contract generation/updates.About the Team     This is a dynamic team with members who approach our work with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and skill.  Clarivate’s present growth provides for a variety of opportunities for personal achievement and career advancement in a fast paced and flexible hybrid environment.   Hours of Work   Core business hours in your time zone with the flexibility to support global clients in other time zones as needed.Clarivate is an Equal Opportunity Employer Vets/Minorities/Women/Disabled
