Data Center Logistics Specialist IIIJob Summary:Applies acquired job skills to work on tasks that are semi-routine in nature. Focus is on semi-routine tasks within standard operating procedures. Supports the overall team.Responsibilities· Supports the team with coordinating large customer deliveries and resolving shipping or receiving issues, keeping records/logs of all materials.· Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks· Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice· Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.Documentation & System Updates· Coordinates speedy and efficient delivery of goods to the required destination and obtains sign-off for receipt.· Informs recipients that goods ordered have been delivered.Shipping & Receiving· Maintains records of materials received and shipped, within a semi-routine scope.· Receives goods delivered to the IBX either directly or following acceptance by security.· Enters all relevant details of all inbound/outbound shipments and ensures order requirements are fulfilled.· Uses shipment spotlight and shipment dashboard for customers inbound/outbound shipments.· Inspects received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items where necessary.Problem Solving· Proactively works and communicates with internal/external customers to ensure on-time deliveries.· May assist with resolving difficult shipping and receiving issues.Inventory ManagementN/AHazardous Materials· Follows established procedures on hazardous materials, requires supervision on new assignments.· Follows and complies with hazardous materials within semi-routine protocols, as described by regional regulatory bodies.Equipment· Tracks stored and/or abandoned equipment.· Uses the aging shipment business processes/tools for Shipments over 5 days, 14 days, 30 days and 90 days.IBX Support·Assists with delivering and removal of customers equipment from cages through the use of established procedures.· When requested by a Smart Hand (SH) request, assists with packing customers equipment with packing material so that it can be shipped from the IBX.Typical Degree & Years of Experience· Typically requires a high school diploma and 1-2 years of equivalent work experience.· Regional hazardous materials certification preferred.The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
• San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $47,000 to $71,000 per year
• California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $43,000 to $65,000 per year
• Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $39,000 to $59,000 per year
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
