Provides solutions to issues in creative and effective ways. Understands the interrelationships of different disciplines. Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas. What you will be doing Customer Order: Requirements & SupportValidates customers' order requirements against customers' scope and Equinix processes through collaboration with cross-functional teams, proposes alternative solutions as requiredMay be assigned to manage mid-level to complex customer deploymentsOffers solutions cross-functionally to resolve customers' non-standard order requirementsCustomer Order: Project PlanningDevelops project implementation plans/task lists for customer deployments through collaboration with cross-functional teams (such as Sales, Client Services and IBX Operations)Customer Order: Project Implementation and DeliveryLeads the planning and communication of project implementationManages, monitors and executes planned activities of internal team and cross-functional groups in the Equinix business systems (i.e. Siebel fulfillment) to ensure project milestones and commitments are metFacilitates implementation meetings with customers and cross-functional groupsCross Functional, Customer Support & Customer CommunicationsOffers solutions and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues during project implementationLiaises with customers to facilitate smooth service delivery and ensure provisioned services meet and exceed customers' expectationsServes as customers' point of contact for any escalation of issues during project implementation especially large and complex projectHandles the escalations, investigates and provides resolution to the issues independently and seeks Manager's assistance on complex issuesCommunicates with customers, own team and cross-functional groups on project plans and implementation progress for large and complex projectProcess Support/OptimizationParticipates with cross-functional teams to review business and/or technical processes within the IBX; refines or makes suggestions for continuous improvements and supports implementation of changesMay lead process solutionsSystems SupportIdentifies system or process issues (e.g. business system bugs on functionalities, training gaps), making recommendations for solutions and working with Regional Operations for implementation of solutionsData Support/AnalysisCollaborates with own team and/or Regional Operations to assess validity and integrity of data being used, analyzes physical audit issues and recommends corrective actions and resolutionsVendor SupportWorks with IBX Operations Support to request for and review third party vendor quotations and negotiate the price/delivery lead times on services and materialsTeam ManagementMentors junior team membersWhat we’ll expect from youSolid previous experience with projects, service delivery, products and sales engineeringBachelor's degree preferred in Engineering courses Previous experienceAdvanced EnglishIntermediate SpanishWhat will be the difference if you have?Experience in data center industryWhy EquinixThe opportunity to be part of the digital transformation in the world in a company that was elected by the employees as the best places to work by Glassdoor and it´s is GPTW for several consecutive years.Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.Equinix is an equal opportunity employer.
