What you will do
Maintain the Sysdig Editorial Style Guide - Ensure consistency in language and branding across all content produced. Communicate any changes to the guidelines internally.
Train content creators - Scale content creation by empowering authors with the guidelines, support, and feedback they need to hone their writing skills.
Review and edit content and copy - Ensure all content meets our brand and writing standards. Improve the readability of our content by revising grammar, sentence structure, and clarity. Stay on top of the editing queue and proactively organize projects and requests. Verify facts, dates, and statistics.
Improve processes - Help establish and implement quality controls throughout the publication process. Streamline review cycles.
Coordinate and prioritize projects - Coordinate with our content team and other stakeholders to map responsibilities, timelines, and priorities.
Pitch & create content - Write web copy, as needed. Create SEO-friendly content, as needed. Produce a newsletter for subscribers and customers.
What you will bring with you
A bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline
3+ years experience as an editor and writer
The ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively
Strong time-management and organizational skills
2+ years of experience in cybersecurity and/or cloud security
A portfolio of content you’ve created or edited
Strong project management skills, keen eye for the details, and passion for keeping projects on schedule

The U.S. annual salary range for this full-time position is between $80,000-$90,000. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) the candidate’s work location, job-related skills, experience and education.
