Major Responsibilities: Owns all aspects of Accounting and Accounting operations, including a deep dive review and sign off on all transactions and variances related to the general ledger, AR and AP processes. Lead the day-to-day operations of the Accounting team, including driving efficiencies in the month-end close process and ensuring completion of ongoing team projects. Oversees and signs off on the monthly close process, ensuring financial statements are produced in an accurate and timely manner, in compliance with GAAP, SOX and all other regulatory standards. Oversee the accounting team's interactions with the Data Analytics team. Responsible for understanding the contents of reports utilized by the team and coordinating updates as needed. Provides technical accounting expertise and guidance on complex accounting matters. Oversee and sign off on preparation of monthly reporting packages and other external facing reports, ensuring financial accuracy. Liaison with external consultants to prepare annual tax filings including corporate federal & state filings. Refine implementation and documentation of accounting best practices as Blink continues to scale its business and Finance resources. Provide support for the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working with Blink’s Strategic Finance team on monthly variance reconciliations and organizational cash flow forecasting. Desired experience: CPA required, Big 4 accounting experience preferred. Minimum of 10 years related accounting experience with at least 5+ years as a high-impact manager or controller for a high-growth startup; pre-IPO and/or HealthTech experience a plus. Experience with Workday or similar ERP system required. Strong Excel skills, and be comfortable with extremely large data volume. Able to work under time pressure, able to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines. Positive attitude and flexible, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing.
