We believe in showing our customers how our Platform stops breaches and the global Sales Engineering team relies heavily on lab environments to accomplish this. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with business acumen and a deep technical understanding of cloud computing providers including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. As the Cloud Architect for CrowdStrike’s SE labs you will be the lead technical architect in designing and implementing labs that will be used by over 500 CrowdStrikers worldwide and are critical to the day-to-day operations of the Sales and Technical Sales organization. This is a high-visibility role that will work closely with our CTO, InfoSec, enablement, and product teams to develop labs that enable our SEs and our partners to learn, pitch, and demonstrate the capabilities of the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform. This is an individual contributor role yet will act as a leader in our cross-functional technical labs community. This role reports directly to the Director of Sales Engineering Strategy and Excellence Operations.What You'll Do:As the technical owner for the global SE lab infrastructure, you will: document, design, develop, and implement cloud computing architecture to support the global mission of the Technical Sales team to demonstrate the power of the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform.Design and implement Enterprise-grade architecture using best practices for reliability, availability, and cost-optimization. Maintain permanent lab infrastructure and ephemeral lab templates.Work closely with our InfoSec team to ensure the ongoing security and secure architecture of our lab environments.Partner closely with our CTO, integration engineering, product engineering, and other team to build permanent and ephemeral lab infrastructure that meets broad or targeted objectives in engaging with the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform.Provide your ample expertise on how to design environments to meet the varying and evolving needs of the Technical Sales teams.Lead cross-functional teams of engineers to accomplish project objectives.Estimate costs of implementing and running an infrastructure design and can communicate with senior leadership the costs associated with a design.Determine tools needed to maintain a highly automated, secure, monitored, and complex lab environment.What You’ll Need:You have 7+ years previous hands-on experience designing and administering cloud computing environments from AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform with a preference on AWS.You understand how to optimize costs for cloud computing environments and can speak to your direct experience in estimating and managing the monthly costs of a large cloud infrastructure environment..You have experience working with open-source software and possess a strong background in cloud virtual machines.You’re proficient in using automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and scripting in Bash and Python to create and configure cloud infrastructure and can speak to how you’ve used these tools in your 7+ years hands-on experience.You work well in cross-functional teams and excel in bringing people together to accomplish an objective.You enjoy working independently with relentless dedication to communication and team success.Comfortable presenting your work to global audiences as part of regular updates on the capabilities of the labs.You are a certified AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS SysOps Administrator or possess equivalent certifications and/or work experience.You love building solutions and architectures that will meet current needs and scale elegantly.You thrive in an Agile and high paced environment with a focus on fast iteration and quick revisions.You have 3+ years of experience working in and can explain your experience with secure GitOps. Bonus Points:You have experience working with CloudShare, Cloud Academy, or A Cloud Guru.You have experience with enterprise identity and access management solutions, including, but not limited to Okta’s IAM suite, AWS IAM, Google IAM, Ping, Active Directory, AzureAD or OneLogin.
