We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours! The Opportunity The Adobe Globalization team is seeking a Globalization Engineer to work on developing the Continuous Localization (CL) framework for the internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) of Adobe Experience Cloud products, as well as developing and deploying localization services/solutions to Adobe internal and external customers. We are looking for someone with a passion for different languages and cultures, who also has the technical knowledge/skills necessary to translate this passion into world-class, world-ready software. The candidate will work as part of a geographically dispersed team with members in the United States, India, and Europe so the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and time zones is essential to the role.What you'll Do Develop and optimize the Continuous Localization infrastructure and services for Adobe Experience Cloud software and documentation localization.Develop a translation service on top of the Adobe Experience Platform, which enables customers to translate their own content from any Adobe Experience Cloud solutions integrated with it.Enable and support core development teams to ensure products are properly internationalized and easily localizable.Support core engineers to resolve internationalization and localization issues/bugs and implement long-term internationalization and localization improvements.Maintain and optimize the localization automation process to ensure high-quality and fast translation cycles.Promote adoptions of internationalization and localization best practices both internally and externally.What you need to succeed BS or MS in Computer Science (or related field).Solid experience working with or familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, etc.Experience with web application development.Strong foundational knowledge in object-oriented design principles, data structures, algorithms, SQL/NoSQL, and software engineering.Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery)Experience/interest in software internationalization and localization would be a plus.Knowledge/experience in AI (Artificial intelligence)/ML (Machine Learning) would be a plus.Self-motivated to drive new innovative initiatives and continuously learn new skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management and organizational skills.Good social and presentation skills.Solid knowledge/experience with at least one foreign language.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $92,100 -- $166,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
