Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field. Experience and/or education must include: Electrical engineering fundamentals including capacitance, inductance, impedance, and circuit analysis High speed signal integrity including simulation with driver/receiver models and printed circuit board extractions Power circuit and power delivery network design including switching mode power supplies, linear regulators, and decoupling and power integrity strategies Experience in consumer electronics design including embedded low power processors with sensor, audio, and other peripherals Experience in circuit layout or multi-layer circuit boards including signal and power routing Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop hardware for mobile devices. Engage in feature scoping, architecture definition, and electrical circuit design of iPhone. Research and integrate latest technologies to enable new features or improve user experiences. Plan system/subsystem power and input/output connection trees. Draft and review Integrated Circuit datasheets. Participate in Integrated Circuit design reviews during silicon design cycles. Bring-up and validate new Integrated Circuit and track bugs along the integration cycles. Execute rigid and flex printed circuit board circuit design involving schematic, layout, and validation. Support engineering prototype builds, manufacturing test, and ramp to mass production. Support and performs system level feature validation of software and hardware. Participate in field failure analysis to isolate root cause and implement solutions. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 - $256,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
