Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Astronautical Engineering or related field and four years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Cross-functional solutions across engineering domains Project defect tracking tools, collaboration tools, and processes Embedded operating system technical programs, supporting system bring up and validation for new and existing hardware products Reporting on key program technical status against committed project schedule to leadership Manage and resolve a diverse set of engineering problems while maintaining a focus on the overall hardware and software schedules Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Lead various Apple Product Programs from Concept to Launch, managing intersections at the system level between cross-functional Software and Hardware engineering teams. Plan and communicate the program key features and get commitment from various Software teams. Define and align on an execution plan with HW System and other key partner teams. Define lower-level Software engineering milestones with completion criteria. Unite and enable all cross functional teams involved in projects to ensure clear understanding of expectations, roles, and responsibilities. Track and manage software deliverables and release dependencies. Perform ongoing project risk assessment and report regularly to leadership. Coordinate usage and ensuring longevity of prototype hardware, including prioritization of said hardware with cross-functional Software teams. Handle issue escalations and provide support, direction to engineering teams balancing competing priorities. Represent software engineering organization as project point of contact, addressing concerns, mitigating risks, and ensuring all milestones are met during each prototype build. Lead cross-functional forums and regularly present in exec reviews on program status and risks. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $182,333 - $241,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
