Senior Quality Program ManagerDescription -The Business Personal Systems organization is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual with proven results leading complex programs and quality improvement initiatives. This person will be pivotal to driving and achieving measurable quality and customer experience improvements for Commercial Notebook and/or Desktop products. This role requires significant independent judgment to identify and engage appropriate HP and Partner engineering resources to drive solutions. Would represent the organization to external partners/customers.As a program leader and master, you will Provide direction and lead global cross-functional teams for resolving major product quality issues.Contribute to the development of innovative principles, ideas and process improvements.Operate in complex environments, appropriately prioritizing activities to drive operational excellence and success.Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, innovative solutions and criteria for achieving objectives.Participate in NPI development of products as well as strategic efforts to proactively drive future improvements and enhancements.Provide direction and leads global cross-functional teams for resolving major product quality issues. Works with product stakeholders to drive quality & experience requirements, processes, and practices into the development, design, manufacturing, and continuous improvement of products or solutions for the business unit. Applies strong understanding of Product Lifecycle processes.Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the organization. Independently identifies and drives opportunities for KPIs and process improvements that will reduce defects and improve quality and customer experience.Analyze and review multiple field quality data sources to identify and prioritize key quality and experience trends/issues to address. Drives root-cause analysis and full resolution with all appropriate parties.Utilize strong communication and presentation skills to translate complex issues/data to clear and concise messaging for senior leadership. Identifies all impacts/tradeoffs for key decisions. Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders.Promote quality culture and drive quality improvement processes for products or service offerings within and outside the organization.Provide guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence. Act as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.We're looking for talents with the following background and experience. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management, Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.Project management certification such as PMP/PMI certification preferred.Lean Six Sigma or other Quality certification preferred.Typically 15+ years experience.Have recognized authority to solve common and complex quality and experience issues and drive necessary process improvement.Various quality tools will be utilized to monitor and react to trending data and drive closed-loop Corrective and Preventive Actions. Excellent analytical, statistical and problem solving skills.Experience with PowerBI and/or similar tools data analytics tools preferredMeticulous attention to detail and strives for excellence in every task.Use of empirical and root- cause analysis and modeling to capture customer product issue experience for replication.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Confident and comfortable with creating reports and presentations to upper management utilizing clear and concise messaging that is appropriate for the audience.Can clearly understand complex issues, process and analyze multiple data sets, and then translate to clear & concise messaging to senior leadership.Ability to effectively communicate quality plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at various business levels, including HP engineering and internal/external partners.Excellent track record of leading and influencing teams across multiple different business units.Proven experience leading product and/or process quality improvementsDemonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategyHistory of innovation with examples of developing new technical, engineering and/or manufacturing processes.#LI-POSTJob -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Taiwan)Travel -Relocation -YesEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
