The role reports to the Group Accountant/Group Financial Controller in their absence, and will work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to provide accurate and timely management accounts to agreed deadlines.Who you areCompetencies / Skills / Knowledge / ExperienceBe qualified with a number of years post-qualification  Have experience running a finance team and reviewing management accountsBe ambitious and career drivenHave excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to take ownership of role and perform to a high standardNeeds intelligence, initiative and self-motivationEssential to have hands-on, can-do approachHospitality experience a large plus What the role includesOversee and support the accounts team who prepare monthly management accounts within tight deadlines Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Preparation and submission of Head Office reports or reports to owners and show producers Preparation of monthly management Information for review by Finance Director Analytical review of results and investigation of variances and reporting to assist business performance Forward looking financial planning Manage Capex budget and planning Forecasting/Budgeting – review in conjunction with Venue management and accountants Implement best practice finance function systems and controls. Assist with managing internal & external audits Responsible for management of 1 direct report (Accounts Assistant).
