The sales enablement team provides sales leaders and reps with the learning materials, content, and resources to drive growth and success. Partnering with the sales team and Product Marketing team, the Principal Enablement Manager, Global Programs will develop and execute impactful, data-driven solutions for transforming the sales process, sales messaging, sales tools and other specialized content. Success is measured by the overall business impact of these solutions and cross-functional collaboration.
You will report to the Director of Sales Enablement, this is a remote eligible position and you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered.
You Will:
Create the strategy, build, and deliver a global sales enablement program supporting our company OKR establishing Smartsheet as the leader in our core Solution Categories
Create the strategy, build, and deliver global sales enablement programs supporting global GTM organization growth initiatives
Collaborate with other departments, such as product, product marketing and customer success to ensure a cohesive approach to customer interactions and business processes
Work closely with the GEO Enablement Principals to adapt and execute in-region programs supporting Smartsheet global corporate programs and OKRs
Align with our Senior Sales Leadership on enablement priorities and programs to support their business strategies and growth
Establish a roadmap for global enablement programs supporting the growth of the business
Contribute to the vision for the Sales Enablement organization GTM strategy, keeping business needs and opportunities and scalability as key priorities
Advise on methods and techniques to establish successful evaluation criteria of enablement programs/initiatives to drive Smartsheet business imperatives
Gather and relay feedback to continuously iterate on the enablement strategy
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of global enablement programs and the OKR enablement initiatives
Communicate enablement strategy and KPIs to stakeholders
Build a trusted relationship with sales reps, front line managers, sales leaders and product marketing
Serve as a liaison between sales, product marketing, and the enablement team to execute on the Enablement GTM strategy
Develop, in conjunction with the Knowledge Manager team, and deliver content for ongoing training programs (i.e. Global OKRs, Solution Categories, Use Cases)
Use performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps across the sales team
Set annual learning and development objectives for the sales teams in collaboration with sales leadership to drive implementation of our Solution Categories
Establish formal networks to drive functional business initiatives
You Have:
2+ years managing a global program
10 years experience in a high-performance SaaS sales organization in sales, enablement, or learning and development
A strong understanding of the sales environment, including sales content, tools and effective training methods
Ability to build internal relationships with sales and marketing
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Strong presentation skills in small and large groups
Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization
Must be able to provide leadership in a virtual team environment
Ability to manage cross functional teams/projects
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. California & New York: $135,000 to $175,500 | All other US States: $125,000 to $162,500
