Our innovation comes from a team of individuals who collaborate and contribute their own perspectives, knowledge, and experiences to develop the way the world works and lives.To improve the competitiveness of Print sheet metal commodities, we would like to invite commodity managers who will work in Singapore with outstanding sheet metal knowledge and experience.You will be part of HPPK(HP Printing Korea) mechanical team which is responsible for plastic and sheet metal commodities for A3/A4 Laser print products produced in Weihai, China.Reviewing and evaluating the status and the performance of the external sheet metal mechanical suppliers to ensure the solid AoS(Assurance of Supply) and high quality of mechanical commodities.Providing real-time feedback on local supply chains in Weihai to mitigate any risks which may impact on the HP business sustainability in Weihai.Leading and managing the strategic relationships with external sheet metal mechanical suppliers for the long-term business success of HP.Tracking the entire production process, guiding, and supervising the production process, and solving problems encountered in production in a timely manner.Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.Individual who does well in this role in HP, usually possess:Bachelor's or master’s degree in business management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.PMP/PMI certification preferred.4-10 years of working experience in relevant Mechanical commodity field.As you are required to communicate with the global colleagues involved in HPPK(HP Printing Korea), we need a resource who can fluently speak Korean language along with English.Speaking in Korean is essential to work with HPPK(HP Printing Korea) R&D, Operation team, and local suppliers in China and Korea.Good understanding of CBD (Cost Break- Down) parameters to Analyze the RFQ data.Good in negotiation skills to lead the raw material cost competitiveness. (e.g., POSCO, Bao steel).Able to understand suppliers' financial data to prevent Assurance of Supply issues and acquire resiliency. Comfortable is using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources.Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
