We believe data, integration, and that the transparency and insights they drive enhance the colocation experience.As Senior Technical Product Manager, API & Ecosystems, you will strategize, prioritize, build, and enable APIs, tools, and services that enable the success of a broad spectrum of developers including the biggest and most innovative companies worldwide. This is an opportunity to help define and advance how enterprises around the world observe, orchestrate, and interact with next-generation data center infrastructure.The role requires someone responsible for ensuring stakeholder needs and use cases are deeply understood, translated into functional and technical specifications, and managed through a development life cycle from start to finish. You will serve as an Agile coach and work closely with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders, building and managing relationships and product roadmaps. A strong understanding of product development, pragmatic approach to technical prioritization, and an ability to effectively collaborate with high profile, high impact customers will be crucial to your success.ResponsibilitiesFoster a shared vision and set clear goals in creating a comprehensive product roadmapLead and motivate scrum teams developing top-tier digital infrastructure and APIs, guiding them to high standardsPrioritize the backlog across roadmap, customer issues, and technical debtGather and analyze customer feedback to inform design and development, ensuring the roadmap meets customer needsWork with Product Managers to define key deliverables for each release, focusing on timeliness and qualityEffectively communicate and collaborate between Product Management and Engineering teamsBe the product expert, driving its direction and motivating the team with your knowledge and enthusiasmThrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain agility.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent experience5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or Software EngineerExperience in managing developer platforms and enhancing developer experiencesProficient in API development and integration into platforms and productsStrong verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and customer interactionPreferred experience in IoT technology and hardware/firmware integrationStrategic thinker with an understanding of Data Center and SaaS market dynamicsExperienced in Agile development methodology, ideally as a product owner or backlog ownerCapable of working with a global team across different time zonesExcellent organizational, analytical, and technical skills with a keen eye for detailAble to deliver quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentMotivated and proactive, with the ability to quickly understand and address business challengesEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
