The Benefits Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing Poshmark's benefits program. In this role, you will provide support to employees and the People Operations team as it relates to the interpretation of plan provisions for benefits and leaves of absence. In this role, you will lead the strategic design, implementation, and administration of our benefits offerings to ensure they are comprehensive and competitive while helping us find new ways to enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic design, implementation, and plan administration of Poshmark’s benefits offering
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand local benefit needs and external market competitiveness of Poshmark’s global benefits offerings
Manage vendor relationships and performance
Review and provide feedback related to data analytics in the research of market trends and benefits surveys, and stay abreast of emerging benefits trends to maintain a competitive benefit portfolio
Provide support in all aspects of benefits and retirement plan administration, including answering employee inquiries, processing, and auditing payroll as it relates to benefits, assisting with open enrollment, entering data, developing communications, conducting presentations, and implementing company-wide benefit changes and/or new programs
Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
Collaborate with legal and HR teams to stay abreast of changes in benefits laws and regulations
Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local laws
Partner with Finance, Legal, and People Teams to implement new benefit programs
Manage end-to-end benefits administration including maintaining benefits invoicing, creating a global benefits strategy, internal audits, hosting benefits orientation, etc.
Complete all necessary compliance requirements Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations (e.g. filing 5500, Non-discrimination testing, OSHA reporting, etc.)
Point of contact for leave of absences and workers’ compensation
Lead, plan, and manage effective communications and education of benefits (including time off policies, open enrollment, wellness etc.)
Provide benefits administrative support
Help in the implementation of the Workday project
Work on benefit programs such as, wellness initiatives, recognition program, and other ad-hoc projects
6-Month Accomplishments:
Understand our current processes and offerings, and identify any gaps for improvement
Build a strong relationship with cross functional teams
12+ Month Accomplishments:
Partner with our leaders to create a robust benefits strategy
Partner with cross functional teams to deliver metrics and streamline processes
Support a project within the HR scope that impacts the employee lifecycle
Requirements:
6+ years of benefits administration experience (global benefits a plus)
Strong attention to detail, working autonomously, and self-motivated
Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PPACA, and federal and state laws regarding benefits (e.g. ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.)
Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
Demonstrated ability to partner with various departments to understand the business needs and develop suitable programs
Ability to lead, plan, and manage effective communications and education of benefits (including time off policies, open enrollment, wellness etc.)
Ability to develop and drive continuous process improvements
Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on providing quality outcomes for our internal and external clients
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary Range $129,000 — $190,000 USD
