About The Team
This role will report to the Senior Manager of Strategic Finance & Investor Relations under the Strategic Finance team. This team is responsible for supporting the company’s strategic decision-making through performing financial analyses, along with operational finance support, including planning and budgeting, supporting corporate development and investor relations.
About the Job
You will play a vital role in shaping our corporate development strategies and strengthening our investor relations function. You'll gain valuable exposure to senior leadership, tackling the most pressing business challenges, and immersing yourself in all aspects of Life360's operations. The ideal candidate should have an innate attention to detail, excellent financial modeling skills, a strong analytical mindset, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and thrives in a dynamic, results-oriented work environment.
The US-based salary range for this position is $130,500 to $160,000. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
What You’ll Do
Support the company’s Corporate Development, Investor Relations, and Long-Range Planning activities
Develop and maintain robust long-term financial models to inform strategic decisions for the executive team and the board, including financial impacts under various scenarios
Partner with internal stakeholders and senior executives to develop financial presentations, Q&A documents, and other relevant materials required for quarterly reporting and investor communications
Collaborate across Strategic Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Marketing and other groups across Life360, to gather information in preparation for quarterly earnings and other ad hoc projects
Prepare Board of Directors presentations, Investor Relations materials, internal presentations, and play a role in any financing and M&A activities
Perform financial analysis and modeling for ad-hoc special projects, including working with large data sets
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital or corporate development
2-year investment banking analyst program preferred
Experience building and maintaining complex financial models (Consumer SaaS a plus), able to craft a story from the data
Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking paired with intellectual curiosity and aptitude in picking up new technical skills
Extremely proactive, approaches problems in a structured manner, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Collaborative by nature - history of working well with different personalities
Comfort and familiarity with a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Ability to step up during ambiguous times and ready to take on new challenges while driving continuous improvement across finance
Great communication skills and experience partnering across different functions and various levels in a company
Advanced Excel skills are required
Experience with SQL, Netsuite, Adaptive, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau), is a plus. (must have a desire to learn)
