Do you see content as a strategic part of the business and key driver of revenue growth? Are you excited to be on the cutting edge, experimenting with the latest forms of content, creative, and SEO insights?  Demandbase is seeking a Sr. Director, Content Marketing to develop and execute on an integrated content marketing strategy to build awareness and trust in the Demandbase brand and accelerate revenue via campaigns, the website, SEO content, thought leadership, sales enablement, etc. Content is much more than the written word. E-books and blogs are important, but so are videos, infographics, podcasts, and so on. The ideal candidate is a “T-shaped” marketer who goes deep on content strategies but also brings analytic, creative, search, and even marketing technology skills to the table.  This role is a management position with a team of writers, creatives, and producers, reporting directly to the CMO. However, it also requires a hands-on doer who will execute with excellence on their own projects as well.  The base compensation range for this role is: $175,541 - $237,496 What you’ll be doing: Develop and manage a content strategy and editorial calendar that builds our brand, is optimized for SEO, and attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, videos, e-books, reports, infographics, etc.). Build a team of top content development talent. Drive SEO content development in partnership with SEO agencies. Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, demand gen marketers, customers, and external influencers to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience. Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on ROI. What we’re looking for: 7+ years of experience managing content programs for SaaS or technology companies. At least 5 years of management experience required Proven ability to recruit, hire and coach direct reports  Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions. Track record of developing novel approaches within your team or company. Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices. A dual-minded approach: You should be highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions. Bonus skills: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite.
