Affirm’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team is focused on enabling informed risk based decisions by establishing enterprise standards, governance practices and independent risk oversight programs to safeguard our business, people and brand. ERM runs several risk focused programs including a Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Program and we're seeking a Third-Party Risk Analyst to guide and manage risk oversight activities for Affirm's third-parties throughout the engagement lifecycle.
What You'll Do
Manage the third-party onboarding queue which involves analyzing third-party risk assessments and/or questionnaires for new engagements
Perform ongoing risk assessments and monitoring of existing third-parties
Facilitate the review of risk subject matter experts and other business stakeholders when appropriate throughout the lifecycle of an engagement from onboarding to termination
Develop and implement risk mitigation and issue remediation strategies for identified third-party risks and/or issues
Assist in drafting and maintaining procedures for program activities
Propose enhancements to the TPRM Program, including recommendations on policy, standards, procedures, and tooling
As needed, support the execution of strategic projects for the wider ERM team
What We Look For
2+ years of professional work experience in internal audit, enterprise risk, or operational risk in a regulated environment, preferably in banking or financial services
Self-starter with the desire to ramp up quickly, collaborate, execute and propose alternative or creative solutions when necessary
Excellent time management, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills
Resourceful and can work well independently
Proficient in Google Workspace applications: Gmail, Sheets, Drive, Docs, etc.
Nice to have:
Previous experience in fintech
Specific experience with risk oversight of third-party relationships (e.g. vendors, merchants, banking partners and strategic partners)
Experience using and managing a governance, risk, and compliance tool
Pay Grade - CAN25
Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.
CAN base pay range:
Min: $61,100
Mid: $70,200
Max: $79,400
