Senior Firmware Manager

Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 8+ years of embedded software development experience Experience building strong firmware platform teams Experience delivering software to shipping products in a highly cross functional capacity Experience on at least one robotic platform (industrial manufacturing, manipulation platforms, surgical, drones, etc) and good understanding how these systems are architected Experience being a core technical lead, proficient in C/C++ Real time OS experience or experience with ARM architectures is a bonus Description Description - Help develop critical aspects of product capabilities and software from the ground up. - Build a team with unique focus on embedded environments within the organization. - Define product architecture and customer use cases - Support software through all stages of product development. Education & Experience Education & Experience BS or MS in software engineering or have equivalent industry experience in a relevant subfield (robotics, computer vision, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering) Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $210,900 and $364,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
