Apple is seeking an experienced UI/UX designer to bring Global Sourcing and Supply Chain solutions to the next level. Our internal software products empower several Apple teams as they manage Apple’s massive supply chain across the globe. Our users expect these internal products to surprise and delight with intuitive and polished UI and UX. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years UI/UX design experience for web and macOS/iOS Experience using Figma, Sketch or similar software to draw mockups, build wireframes, prototypes, and produce design specs Familiarity with front end development and technologies Versed in macOS and iOS Human Interface Guidelines Collaborative mindset with maniacal attention to detail Experience in handling several complex projects simultaneously Ability to navigate through ambiguity while developing user stories Ability to approach challenges at a fast pace Description Description The right candidate will collaborate with users, management, and engineering to develop elegant solutions that solve increasingly complex business problems. This is an amazing opportunity for a designer with several years of design experience that is passionate about highly intuitive user interface design, outstanding user experiences, and wants to directly impact Apple operations. Responsibilities include: • Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their needs and goals, actively engage in defining a product experience and interface. Additionally, play a key role in defining design priorities and shaping product direction • Serve as front-end representative and system architect to project manager for overall system flow, design and development • Conduct user research, plus producing information architecture, product strategy, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and front-end development • Display meticulous attention to detail to craft pixel-perfect designs and address obscure edge cases in the user experience • Advocate for users, accessibility and standardizing of design patterns to create unified experiences Education & Experience Education & Experience BS/BA degree required. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $208,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
