Job Requisition ID #23WD73745Position OverviewAs a Territory Technical Solutions Executive (TSE), we are one of the main factors of success for Worldwide Construction Sales. Our mission is to transform the construction industry. You will partner with AMER Territory Sales Executives to increase revenue by proving our customer’s challenges can be met by the Autodesk platform. Coming from the AEC industry, you will use your experience to connect with our customers, identify and uncover their needs, develop a strategy, and prove value. Your goal is to gain a clear understanding of a customer's environment, challenges, and requirements and help achieve their goals using the Autodesk platform. You will also develop long-term partnerships within your accounts and your internal extended team members, all while being a part of a fun-loving technical sales organization.You will report to the manager of technical sales. You will work remotely and are located in the Eastern half of the United States due to customers' locations.ResponsibilitiesAccount Sales CollaborationWork with AMER Territory Sales Executives to close new business and expand existing accounts, including cross-product selling opportunitiesWork within a team environment consisting of the entire Autodesk account team, including preconstruction specialists, business development representatives, customer success managers, and channel partners to provide technical closureUse standard sales methodologies and participate in account QBRs and executive briefingsExpansion PlanningDevelop a technical expansion plan to meet Autodesk’s revenue goals for Territory customers according to identified customer business initiatives, and the Autodesk account teamUse industry and product expertise to identify the technical requirements and opportunities within each unique customer to develop an achievable strategy to prove that the Autodesk Construction Cloud can deliver the technical requirements needed to satisfy the customer’s positive outcomesCustomer Relationship ManagementGain knowledge of your customer's business processes, workflows, and technical requirements to establish trusted advisor relationshipsMaintain comprehensive knowledge of business processes, technology trends, and workflows within your domain of expertise to position the value of Autodesk Construction CloudEnsure smooth handoffs between the pre-sales and adoption/deployment teams, demonstrate expertise to differentiate Autodesk as a long-term solution provider, and help bring customer feedback to the product teamTechnical Discovery, Positioning and Demonstrating SolutionCollaborating with customers and account executives, you will secure business and technical closure of solutions within Autodesk Construction CloudManage technical evaluations, defining solutions architecture, facilitating product demonstrations, and consulting with account executivesProvide guidance to customers on strategic product issues to maximize satisfaction and revenue. Additionally, you will document quantifiable pain points, decision criteria, and metrics in Salesforce and other softwareParticipate in technical discovery with aligned sales account executives based on opportunity size or complexityCollaborate with global territory sales to position Autodesk Construction Cloud solutions for favorable customer outcomesWork with partnerships and technical services teams on integrations for custom workflows through discovery with sales and the customerCollaborationBuild relationships with the sales team and collaborate with multiple business resourcesCoordinate with deployment teams, marketing, and product "centers of excellence" to implement solutions and ensure customer satisfaction and business closureInternal LeadershipShare best practices, competitive information, and expertise within the sales organization, product divisions, and technical solutions organizationCollaborate with the marketing team for strategic speaking engagementsMentor new TSEs, lead sessions internally to address goals, and conduct product strategy workshopsHave comprehensive knowledge of your domain and influence industry ecosystems through social media, presentations, and conferences to maintain industry leadershipParticipate in professional associationsMinimum Qualifications5+ years of experience in the AEC industryExperience with SaaS Technology and SalesA technology expert who can easily distill complex workflows / solutions for several AEC audiencesTravel for customer onsite meetings, and internal ADSK meetings#LI-SV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $151,500 and $219,340. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
