We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.Q2 is seeking a Network Engineer with at least 5 years of experience who will evaluate and ensure maximum performance and availability is provided from every aspect of the network. This position will be responsible for day to day support, design, installation and maintenance of production environments while preserving excellent communication and documentation skills within a highly secured environment. A successful candidate will possess a proven track record of troubleshooting network issues while maintaining a high level of customer service.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop network solutions and implement within a complex networkEvaluate networking technologies, software, systems, and services to develop technical solutionsConfigure install, maintain network services, equipment and devicesDocument and communicate all network changesTroubleshoot connectivity issues, analyze, debug and diagnose packets and logsMonitor network devices through alerting systemsParticipate as an individual contributor or as part of a larger teamAttend and actively participate in weekly meetingsMaintain security in a highly regulated environmentResponsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered toParticipate in a 24x7 on-call rotation EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:Experience configuring implementing and administrating network devicesTypically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experienceDemonstrable knowledge of IPSec VPN, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, Remote Access, Firewall & Load BalancingKnowledge of monitoring and troubleshooting production application networksExperience with Cisco hardware ASA Firewall/VPN, Routers and Switches (required)Experience with Load Balancing solutions – F5, A10, etc.Create and maintain comprehensive documentationAbility to adapt in a fast pass environment and manage multiple ongoing projects with competing deadlinesAbility and desire to learn new skills quicklyEffectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organizationAbility to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information Preferred:Cloud Networking Experience – AWS, AzureCCDACCNA Routing and SwitchingCCNA Data CenterApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Health & WellnessHybrid & Remote Work Opportunities                                                                  Flexible Time OffCareer Development & Mentoring Opportunities   Generous Retirement Benefit Plans, including a company-matching HSA program.Health & Wellness Benefits, including a 12-weeks of parental leave for eligible new parentsCommunity Volunteering & Company Philanthropy ProgramsEmployee Peer Recognition Programs – “You Earned it”Click here to find out more about the benefits we offer.How We Give Back to the Community:You can learn more about our Q2 Spark Program, Q2 Philanthropy fund, and our employee volunteering programs on our Q2 Community page.
