NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Verification Engineer to join our Chip-Design team in Belfast, focusing on products such as our ConnectX Ethernet Network Interface Cards (SmartNICs) and BlueField Data Processing Units (DPUs). As a Senior Chip-Design Verification Engineer, you will join a group of passionate engineers to design and implement the next generation state-of-the-art SmartNICs and DPU platforms. In this position, you will make a real impact in a dynamic, technology-focused company while developing the industry's best high-speed communication and data processing devices, delivering the highest throughput and lowest latency. What you'll be doing:Work in a combined design and verification team which develops core units within the Network Adapter and BlueField SoC (System-on-Chip) silicon teamsUse advanced verification methodologies like e/Specman and SystemVerilog/UVM to achieve verification closureTests planning, tests and test environment development, build reference models, verify and simulate chip blocks/entities according to functional and performance specificationsWork closely with multiple teams within organizations such as Architecture, Micro-Architecture, FW and Post-Silicon validationWhat we need to see:Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience5+ years of proven experience in RTL verification experienceKnowledge of HDL (Verilog/VHDL)Experience in building test benches, debugging simulation failures and evaluating/closing coverageExposure to industry standard verification tools for simulation and debugStrong interpersonal skills and the ability & desire to innovate Ways to stand out from the crowd:Prior verification experience of DPUs, Network Adapters and/or high-speed interconnectsExperience in e/Specman and/or SystemVerilog/UVMBackground in Scripting (Python/Perl/shell)Knowledge of Ethernet and InfiniBand protocolsNVIDIA has some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us.
