You will be a member of a cross-functional team and you will be working with R&D development, project management, marketing, operations, and customer assurance departments of the entire organization to deliver high quality HP Large Format products.In the last years, our strategy as LF business is pivoting towards Services and Solutions and, as a result, we need to reinforce our team in that area. We are looking for an Engineer with strong knowledge on LF Solutions or FW and a Quality mindset who can help us to define not only an efficient testing strategy for LF Solutions, but also the right processes to engage development to ensure Quality at Origin. You will have the opportunity to:· Influence code design and help define the qualification activities needed to ensure that our products are delivered to our customers with a high-level of quality.· Work close with the developers in the validation of the subsystems to ensure a smooth system integration.· Define processes inside Quality team or together with development teams to improve the quality of our products and the predictability of our teams.· Help execute the defined qualification activities on time and with the planned budget.· Contribute to the assessment of Customer Experience for our products from a software point of view.Responsibilities:· Analyze Risk Areas of a Product.· Define SW Quality Assurance Strategy to be implemented on the design and the qualification of the different HP Large Format products considering the Risk Areas identified, target market segment and the complexity of the product. This Strategy shall include the definition of manual and automatic tests.· Deliver SWQA deliverables to programs on time and with expected quality level:· SW Quality plan integrated with the overall Quality plan· Involvement on the requirements process· Help execution of SWQA activities on time and with the planned budget· Help SW Defect management process execution· Help champion defect prevention techniques and methodologies (e.g. Design reviews, …)· Propose/design/implement enhancements in system testing, as well as in other project areas that can improve the quality of the final product.· Review specifications, design and development documentation and use this information to provide feedback on the Test Catalogue (suggest new test cases or variants, update test cases or test sets …)· Depending on the defined strategy, plan and write automated test cases for the systems under test. Create and develop tools for testing and quality assurance.· Provide feedback on development, user and support documentation.· Help analyze results from test execution and prepare report:o to improve existing test definition.o to increase the efficiency and efficacy of further testing.o to update the program team on status and progress.· Collaborate with the rest of the SWQA team to learn and be aligned on processes and improvements.· Be the customer advocate (i.e. defend the quality of the product from the customer’s perspective).· Help follow on field defects and trace it back to the current SWQA activities to ensure continuous improvementEducation and Experience Required:· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication engineering or equivalent degree (Grado + Master).· It is not required to possess any minimum of Quality Assurance /Software Testing experience; however a “quality mentality” to product development is highly-desirable.Skills, abilities and knowledge valued to perform the work but not required· Experience in full software development life cycle and methodologies.· Coding skills in programming languages as Java, C++, C, VB script, Python,…· Be able to debug issues to provide accurate severities and descriptions.· Ability to think outside the box (open minded) to enable significant defect reductions, improvements in our overall quality and to find solutions to the problems.· Good at planning (test schedule, resource planning,…).· Ability to manage QA processes, as well as personally write test cases, execute tests,..· Assess Quality issues from Customer point of view.· Fluent English and Spanish (spoken and written).· Proactivity, Energy, Dynamism and Motivation.· Must have excellent teamwork, communication, networking, and leadership skills.· Flexibility and good learning skills.Job -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Spain)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
