Software Application DeveloperDescription -The HP Worldwide Supply Chain Operations Factory Services Tools team is looking for an experienced software application developer in Guadalajara Mexico.  The candidate will develop applications that will be globally deployed at HP factories supporting HP Factory Services for commercial notebooks, desktops, workstations, and thin clients.  The Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related IT fields.Responsibilities:Design, develop and deliver high quality, well-architected, secure, and high performing software solutions.Work from within the Guadalajara Mexico HP office in a hybrid model 60% of time.Attend daily meetings to provide updates to project management.Collaborates and communicates with management regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issues resolution.Promote and drive use of agile and DevOps methodologies and patterns including continuous integration, continuous testing, continuous delivery, etc.Strong desire to learn new technologies.Ability to work in an agile team environment leveraging a secure development lifecycle (Design, Gather Requirements, Develop, Test, Deploy).Strong emphasis on developing with a cyber security mindset.Knowledge & Skills:The ideal candidate should have the following:8+ years relevant industry experienceStrong coding skills in:.NET, C#, JavaScript, REACT, AngularService Oriented Architecture (SOA)Web Services using RESTful APIsMVVM and MVC architectural design patternsEntity FrameworkBootstrap, jQuery, Service Workers, WebSocket’s (Signal R).SQL Server, SQL QuerySource control GITFamiliar with DataStax Cassandra DB, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ a plusStrong coding methodologies, design patterns and best practicesExperience with AZURE and AWS cloud-based applications and servicesAbility to provide accurate schedule estimates of development efforts.Collaborative team player with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Agile development methodologiesExperience with Unit Tests and Integration TestsExcellent Communication and presentation skills and able to interact with cross-function development teams.Demonstrated successful completion of multi-user software applications projects in LAN and Cloud environments.Qualifications & Education:For this position, we require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.Minimum 8+ years Software Development ExperienceHP is an equal opportunity employer:  https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=c08129225#LINKEDINJob -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Mexico)Travel -NoRelocation -NoEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
