This requires close collaboration with the SVP of Business Operations and SVP of Corporate Strategy to define, build, and execute the internal communication plan.This innovative, creative, and highly organized individual must be able to thrive in a dynamic environment - managing a diverse portfolio of communications to all levels of the organization. They will work closely with other communications teams across Workday to ensure seamless and effective business communications.About YouCreate and drive a strategic global internal communications strategy and execution plan across multiple audiences and at all levels of WorkdayAct as the primary interface to and partner closely with the Corporate Strategy and Business Operations team to align communication contentCreate alignment and drive consensus with key partners and internal teams on the development, refinement, and implementation of new communications campaigns to support the understanding and operationalization of Workday’s strategy and operating processes Develop a communications plan and manage execution to support the understanding of Workday's strategy Track metrics that show the impact of communications and programs on employee engagement, productivity, and organization performanceProactively manage priorities and pivot as neededBasic Qualifications8+ years of experience in communications roles, ideally within a technology companyExperience preferably in a fast paced, high tech company.Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise messaging; ability to write in a simple, direct, warm and friendly tone.Other QualificationsEstablished track record collaborating with and proactively supporting senior leaders on communications strategies and best practices; client service mindset and consultative approachOutstanding writing and editing skills; ability to write for a broad spectrum of audiences and multimedia communications channelsExperience with change management and communicating key initiatives across multiple internal target audiencesInnovative mindset – always looking for ways to improve how Workday communicates with and engages employeesCorporate Strategy, SaaS and Technology industry expertise, with specific knowledge and experience in the software market, is favorableWorkday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
