The position resides within our shipping product organization and will be responsible for owning a set of shipping products that impact buyer conversion. These are cutting-edge, large-scale products that serve shipping experiences in the buyer journey from Search to Checkout, and post transaction at a global scale.The Role:This is a highly visible role in the company. The product owner will be responsible for providing insights on product performance and customer behavior to executive leadership teams at a regular cadence. You will be able to demonstrate a balance in guiding and influencing the vision of market leaders globally and leading execution with data analytics and engineering teams. Must have a Deep understanding in the areas of buyer experience of high traffic B2C sites, A/B testing methodologies, and launching features globally.Responsibilities:Strong product management skills: work with the larger cross-functional team to define the team’s product strategy, business strategy, operation plan and detailed roadmapProven track record of using data driven decision and insights to drive product roadmaps and outcomes in leading technology companiesExhibit leadership presence. Be comfortable in leading discussions with VPs and executive leadershipOutstanding communication skills – verbal, written and presentation abilities. Capacity to deal with sophisticated analytics and summarize key findings and business implicationsAbility & confidence in quantitative analysis, data visualization and data mining to tell the story behind numbers and derive practical insightsResilient. Design and iterate quickly, learn from mistakes. Deliver resultsCan-do attitude. Like to solve problems in the most pragmatic wayRequirements:Bachelor’s degree and above. Degrees in quantitative areas (Stats, Math, CS, etc.)MBA preferred10+ years of experience in product management roles in technology companies with growing scope and responsibilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
