Senior Project Manager Type: full time, salaried employment Location: Remote in Sydney, AUS with local travel (local candidates only) Salary range: $150k - $220k AUD (including the value of stock options)   Who We Are Focal Systems is the industry leader in retail AI solutions. What We Are Looking For We are looking for a results-driven Project Manager to play a critical role in our Customer Success organization and ensure our retail partners achieve a meaningful ROI and accelerated time to value through the use of our solutions. You will be the point person between Focal and a large enterprise customer that is responsible for ensuring clear communication, schedules are met and desired project outcomes are achieved. What you Will Be Doing Key results to deliver: Create and manage the schedule and overall project plan You will coordinate between the customer and Focal to understand requirements, responsibilities, objectives and risks. You will then create the necessary plan and schedule to achieve the desired objectives You will be responsible for managing communications between Focal and the customer. You will manage any changes to the schedule and the implications of such changes. Attainment of desired project objectives You will ensure that the customer achieves their targeted goals of the project around ROI, scalability, adoption and integration You will be responsible for quickly escalating issues and removing blockers that prevent the success of the project You will be responsible for ensuring that Focal and the customer agree on the metrics. Increase Customer Satisfaction Be the voice/champion of the customer back to Focal Strengthen customer engagement and adoption by traveling to Focal stores within your territory Demonstrate measurable ROI to the customer Act as customer's strategic advisor to help define, implement, and adopt best practices Help customers attain their desired outcomes by monitoring and analyzing store performance to make proactive recommendations that drive results What You Need to Be Successful Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 6+ years of experience in IT-related Project or Implementation Management Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills to connect with all stakeholders to build trusting relationships Proven ability to plan and manage the operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity Strong risk management skills to identify and mitigate risks throughout project implementation Start-up mindset and work ethic that embodies company core values with ability, motivation, and energy to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, unstructured environment independently and as a team Must Have: Reliable vehicle and ability to commute to regional stores Why Focal Systems Strong Values and Mission: We are a tightly-knit team with an ambitious mission and a strong set of core values, which define our approach to business and have successfully guided us since inception Exceptional Team: We are a team of hard-working, fun-loving professionals from some of the most eminent universities, research labs, and tech companies of our time.
