As the Senior Payroll Administrator, you will work closely with the Payroll Manager on all aspects of payroll for over 1000 Team Members across the US. You will have the chance to serve as a key contributor to a high growth environment and strengthen your understanding of both operational and technical payroll processes. The successful candidate is looking to be part of a world-class payroll team, create payroll processes and partner cross-functionally in a rapidly growing company. This position will report to the US Payroll Manager and work closely with our People Experience, People Systems, and Accounting teams.
What you'll do
Process on cycle payroll on a biweekly basis
Process off cycle payrolls on a as-needed basis
Complete end-to-end root-cause analysis on payroll issues
Execute the Payroll Checklist with thorough attention to detail
Orchestrate tax allocations and imputed income
Respond to and close out all Payroll Inbox emails daily
Stay up-to-date on and implement federal, state, and local payroll and tax laws
Take the lead on maintaining accurate payroll tax data including new tax rates and IDs
Support process improvement across all areas impacting, and including, payroll
Administer / coordinate Year End tax filings and disbursement of employee f orms across the US
Responsible for the data integrity of payroll records
Partner with the People Experience (HR) Team to develop payroll best practices, guidelines, and procedures as well as integration with the HCM system
Partner with all relevant Finance and Accounting teams to support timely reconciliations and responses to general payroll queries
Support key controls and quarterly reviews
Support all internal / external audits
Create and maintain Work Instructions
Calculate and process payroll deductions: garnishments, benefits, tax withholdings
Compute wages: payable hours, overtime, shift differential, bonuses

About you
Minimum Payroll Processing Experience: 5 Years
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Displays good time management, organization, and prioritization skills
Responsive and accountable for assigned tasks
Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations
Knowledge in labor and payroll tax laws and regulations
Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, integration, and taxes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify the root cause to problems and establish effective corrective actions to those problems
Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a changing environment with a high degree of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
Can apply critical thinking to all work areas, communicate and understand potential consequences or opportunities
Honesty and integrity
Nice to have skills
Experience in Workday HCM
Knowledge and experience with ISOs, NQSOs, RSUs and ESPP

Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts, the base salary range is $70,000.00 to $85 ,000.00 plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.
