About the Team
We’re looking for a Home Ops Coordinator to join the team! As a Home Ops Coordinator, you'll be part of the Trade Partnerships team, supporting a field-based team of Home Project Managers by scheduling and coordinating different field-based tasks. You’ll work with our customers, vendors, and various other Opendoor teams, across the nation. The team will leverage your organizational skills, attention to detail, and decision-making strengths to enhance Opendoor’s already exceptional product, taking it to the next level.
Role Responsibilities:
Monitor our Listed Inventory ensuring that all maintenance is completed on time and to quality standards. Oversee trade partner performance to build and maintain a high performing network of vendors. Drive trade partner accountability for maintenance performance
Create work orders for new acquisitions and dispatch to the appropriate trade partner
Build partnerships with HomeOwners Associations (HOAs) and manage HOA violations during pre-acquisition, list, and resale
Manage listed home quality; Triage listed home feedback, dispatch vendors, and manage repairs to resolution throughout all of the homes’ OD lifecycle.
Research and resolve home issues leveraging internal tools, customer inputs, governmental & real estate records and your own data analysis. Apply Opendoor policies and personal judgment to arrive at repair decisions.
Partner and collaborate with internal teams and local management to resolve escalations and improve overall processes.
Facilitate communications between municipalities, homes project managers and trade partners to prepare homes for sale.
Engage in special projects as required to help improve central home operations processes, tools, and policies.
Communicate process, policy and other expectations to trade partners. Drive day to day process compliance through relationship management.
Skills Needed:
2+ years of experience in residential construction/real estate
2+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or general project management
Problem solving; a creative thinker who can act as the intermediary between trade partners, market teams and customer needs.
Works independently and applies good judgment to unique situations
The ability to work unconventional hours (as early as 5am/as late as 8pm) with an occasional weekend day.
Occasional travel required <10%
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Location:
Hybrid roles require role responsibilities to be performed in the office for a portion of the week, with an option to work remotely. Candidates must be based within a 50-mile commuting distance of the specified Phoenix office location
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $19.23 - $31.73 hourly. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range for the job location during the hiring process. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 12 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
