Job Requisition ID #23WD73807Position OverviewAutodesk DevRel (Developer Relations) development team is seeking a talented and self-motivated Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about building and delivering innovative solutions for the Autodesk DevRel Automation Platform. This platform offers a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to seamlessly integrate Slack and Jira, introduce cutting-edge AI-driven self-service capabilities, effectively streamlining the DevRel support process, significantly enhancing the overall productivity of product teams, and upholding the highest standards of engineering excellence.As a member of the DevRel development team, you will work closely with our partner teams across Autodesk to help them build customized, streamlined, automated support processes. You will be responsible for implementing customized solutions for our partners with the best end-user experience, delivering exciting new features to our platform, and innovating in cutting-edge technologies.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement microservices for distributed applicationsWork with the team to troubleshoot code-level problems quickly and efficientlyWork with partner teams to understand their requirements and propose solutionsContribute to the CI/CD process to ensure smooth and reliable application deploymentEvaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance are achievedContribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable softwareMinimum QualificationsBS/MS in Computer Science or EngineeringSolid knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and computer science fundamentals5+ years of working experience as a software developerWorking experience in object-oriented programming with one of C++/C#/JavaHands-on experience in Python programmingExperience in GitKnowledge of HTTP and experience in building a web serviceKnowledge in microservices and distributed systemsFamiliar with the CI/CD processQuick, active learner, able to pick up new technologiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud servicesKnowledge in message broker/message queueSolid experience in building applications with PythonSolid experience in asynchronous programming (process, thread, coroutine, and synchronization primitives)Solid experience in building micro services for a distributed systemSolid experience in DockerExperience in ElasticsearchPassionate about open-source technologiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
