We are looking for a Public Relations & Communications Manager who will be responsible for PR strategy and programs to broaden awareness of, and preference for, Autodesk technology in the Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry. Our M&E tools empower studios and artists around the globe to create the magical creatures, lush worlds, and powerful characters you see in the games you play and the shows and movies you watch every day.You are experienced establishing and managing press relationships; you have excellent writing skills and an ear for interesting narratives; can collaborate with a variety of company partners from executives to engineers; and would be an awesome culture add to our organization. You will report to the Head of PR for Tech, Industry & Platform.This role can be either hybrid or remote, with an expectation to travel.ResponsibilitiesLead development of communications strategies and programs to promote Autodesk technology and business strength, with a focus on the Media & Entertainment industryCultivate relationships with tier-one business, tech, and industry press to secure positive earned media coverageIdentify potential story angles (customers, trends) and holistically manage news announcements, including close cross-functional collaboration to develop messaging, write blog posts and press releases, and engage media and influencersHelp build thought-leadership profiles of Autodesk senior executivesDemonstrate command of bylines – sourcing ideas from subject matter experts and creating articles for earned, owned, and sponsored opportunitiesMinimum Qualifications7+ years of B2B or B2C technology Public Relations experienceProven ability to develop strategic plans in collaboration with various marketing business partnersExtensive experience working with media in the technology and entertainment industries to achieve earned coverage goalsExperience managing multiple projects independently and determining prioritiesDemonstrated expertise in developing clear and compelling written content, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiencesEagle-eyed attention to detail with strong editing skills#LI-POSTLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $110,800 and $179,190. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
