Our team is passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible, and we're looking for a Senior Character Artist who shares our drive for innovation and quality.Position Overview: As a Senior Character Artist, you will play a crucial role in bringing to life the characters that inhabit our games and experiences. We are seeking an individual with a deep understanding of character art, exceptional skills in ZBrush, and proficiency in creating organic forms and detailed textures using Substance Painter.What you'll be doing:Character Development: Create compelling, realistic characters from concept to final assets. Emphasize lifelike details, unique characteristics, and engaging personalities.Sculpting Excellence: Utilize ZBrush to sculpt high-resolution characters, focusing on anatomy, form, and detail.Texturing and Materials: Apply advanced skills in Substance Painter to craft detailed textures and materials that bring characters to life.Real-Time Implementation: Ensure characters are optimized for real-time environments without compromising artistic integrity.Collaboration: Work closely with the art, animation, and technical teams to ensure character assets meet technical requirements and artistic vision.Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior artists, fostering a collaborative and creative atmosphere.What we need to see:A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality character art, with a focus on organic modeling and texturing.Proficient in ZBrush and Substance Painter.Experience with real-time character creation and an understanding of performance considerations.BS, or Graphic Design, Illustration, 3D Arts with 5+ years’ experience in a character artist role, preferably in the gaming industry or equivalent experienceExcellent communication and collaboration skills.Passionate about character design and staying abreast of industry trends and techniques.With highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
