As a Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for leading the marketing communications initiatives in Qoo10 Japan, promoting shopping trends and creating buzz through external medias. Media include owned online and offline channels as well as through PR agencies. You are expected to understand how online marketplace business work, think creatively, act strategically, be technically knowledgeable about Qoo10 business and communicate effectively both internally and externally. Responsibilities Create Qoo10 Japan’s perception as young and vibrant shopping community for Japanese GenZs. Drive Qoo10 and Megawari awareness through online/offline communications. Develop a strategic communications plan for promotion and dissemination of marketing content. Coordinating with and managing agency partners. Work with other functions/teams to identify updated sales/marketing strategy and align comms plan to support the strategy. Plan and execute media events. Basic Qualifications Native Japanese fluency Superior verbal and written communication skills in English (Korean +) Expert knowledge in fashion or beauty media and trends online & offline. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to network, build relationships and influence other key teams. Ability to self-educate, work autonomously with minimal supervision. Ability to think strategically and logically and execute methodically. A fast worker committed to meeting targets and deadlines. Excellent, solutions-focused interpersonal and communication skills Willing to travel when needed. Education and/or Relevant Experience: 5+ year experience in a fashion/beauty related marketing and communication Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Basic adobe image and video edit skill.
