Director, Business AgilityDescription -HP’s R&D Centre Bangalore (RCB) has over 1000 employees and another 1000 contingent workers in the areas of Embedded Systems, Cloud Systems, Client & Application S/W, Manageability S/W, Security, Data Engineering & Analytics, Generative AI & Machine Learning, Systems Integration and Quality Engineering. The scope of work covers lifecycle and ecosystem engineering activities in the above areas for critical business-aligned programs across HP Products, Platforms, Solutions & Services Global Business Units (GBUs). RCB supports the enablement of billions of dollars of HP’s business. RCB is also one of HP’s largest R&D footprints in one of the fastest growing emerging market economies with significant strategic opportunities for product, digital services & solutions and business model innovation. Business Agility is therefore a critical success factor for RCB to be able to enable HP to compete and thrive in this digital economy, by quickly responding to customer insights, market changes and emerging opportunities, with digital innovation & transformation across the value chain. This is position is for a Director level executive to lead the Business Agility function within RCB, reporting to Vice-President.Responsibilities:Define and implement strategy for a lean, agile and scalable R&D organization aligned around customer, market, business insightsDefine and set up ecosystem value streams aligned with customer experiences, insights, architectural and technology enablersDeploy HP’s ADAPT agile at scale frameworkStandardize and deploy digital software engineering methodologies & toolsDefine, deploy and manage frameworks for innovation in daily work and at scaleLead identification, evangelization and integration of new technologies including Generative AICatalyse and lead organizational change and culture towards lean-agileCollaborate with peers, GBU functions and ADAPT teams in executing above responsibilitiesEngage with senior executive stakeholders in influencing business strategies through lean-agilityLead & manage a team of Agile Coaches, Software Methodologists, Ecosystem Architects, Technical Program Managers, Tooling Experts, Innovation Champions, Change Managers & DevelopersEducation and Experience Required:Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Electronics / Electrical Engineering or MBA in General Management with experience in digital technologies15 or more years of related work experience, including 10 years of people management experience.Knowledge and Skills:Strong and high integrity leadership, strategic thinking, analytical & creative problem-solving skillsProven ability to execute, manage change and deliver resultsProven ability to lead & manage cross-functional teams of subject matter expertsProven ability to collaborate within and across organizational boundaries for business outcomesStrong customer empathy and orientationStrong experience in digital technologies including Cloud, Data & AI, Embedded SystemsStrong experience in Lean and Scalable Agile methodologies & toolsAdvanced communication skills catering to a wide variety of audiencesJob -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (India)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
