Employee Relations ExpertDescription -HP is seeking a HR Employee Relations Specialist for the Plamex manufacturing facility located in Tijuana, Mexico. Our manufacturing facility produces more than $1B USD in annual revenue with more than 3,500 employees involved in the production, distribution and manufacturing of Poly and HP products.The Specialist will ensure compliance with legal standards and procedures in the application of internal labor regulations, will represent the company in labor authority audits and inspections, in addition to promoting an ideal work environment at our site. This role will be a key contributor to our HR strategy for the site and work towards embedding the HP values and competencies that define our culture and employee experience.Responsibilities:Works on initiatives that contribute to positive employee engagement and wellbeing.Serves as an advocate for our company culture and ensures that employees are living out our values.Responsible in training, coaching to all employees, making sure they all know and understand our Internal Rules and Conduct Code.Regulates and supervises the control and correct application of sanctions (RIT), as well as keeping our internal labor regulations updated.Responsible in following up “if the case” any legal complains in the Federal Labor Office.Responsible in receiving any labor inspections by the Labor Federal office. Works with people managers and their teams on complex leadership and HR issues including development, engagement, and talent performance issues.Balances data analysis, experience, and judgment to support the site strategy and create solutions to drive action planning.Education and Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree with focus in Human Resources, Administration, Law or related discipline.English fluency.Minimum 3 years supporting employee relations functions.Proven knowledge of Mexican Ley Federal del Trabajo and Ley del Seguro SocialKnowledge on NOM-035, collective contract, and recent labor law reforms (desired)Soft skills: Negotiation, problem solving, strong communication, leading leaders.Demonstrates a passion and drive to shape the culture across various groups within the site.A track record of positive results and an ability to show how previous programs and initiatives have contributed to business performance.Acute business acumen, understanding of organizational challenges, and success resolving them by implementing effective HR strategiesOrganized, detail-oriented, and creative problem solver with a relentless drive for improvement; capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a high-performance environment.Job -Human ResourcesSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Mexico)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
