We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong functional understanding of finance, finance systems, and order-to-cash processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning the organization’s IT strategy with its business objectives, ensuring seamless operations across the enterprise. As Enterprise Architect, Finance Systems, this person will be responsible for supporting project prioritization, business process evaluation, and solution assessments for all key systems and technology initiatives in the finance and order-to-cash space.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.At least 10 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, preferably within the finance function.At least 10 years of experience working with finance systems such as ERPs and order-to-cash processes.It would be great if you also had . . . A Master’s degree or MBAUnderstanding of Oracle EBS and NetSuite platforms is highly preferred Understanding of multi-country currency combos Proficiency with PowerPoint Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies.What will you be doing in this role? Develop and implement enterprise architecture strategies that align with the organization’s business goals, operational strategy, and key objectives. Understand and map the finance function’s current state and define its future state, including the development of the finance function’s system and business process architecture roadmap. Provide expertise on financial systems such as ERPs, Billing Systems, Treasury Management tools, and Consolidation Tools, ensuring their effective integration with other business and operational systems. Support ERP consolidation efforts, including maintaining and driving multi-year transition plans and ensuring proper discovery to support ERP rationalization. Understand, optimize, and oversee order-to-cash processes, ensuring they are efficient and aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and challenges and develop solutions to meet these needs. Ensure that the enterprise architecture adheres to established standards and principles, including adherence to TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) guidelines and principles. Maintain existing process for documentation, business process mapping, and engagement between business and technical resources, enabling self-service and consultative services. Monitor the current enterprise architecture for efficiency and effectiveness and suggest improvements and strategic changes when necessary. Manage a small team of business analysts focused on understanding and documenting our current state systems and processes to drive towards a future state architecture. As required for project engagement, create, update, and maintain north star/target architecture documents and transition state to support delivery.About the Team The Enterprise Services team ensures the performance and availability of critical business systems while optimizing technologies to align with business processes, including transformation and integration activities.
