We believe Live Nation are the largest live entertainment company in the world.  THE JOB As a member of the Finance Team, you will be working in all areas across the function and interacting with many different stakeholders. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the day to day running of the department and play a key role in the daily accounting and financial reporting activities of the business.  We are not looking for just ‘a numbers person’, but a detective who can uncover the root cause of issues, create strategies, and implement process change when needed. The role will be varied and involve working with a range of internal and external data sets, as well as building relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient and thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Knowledge or passion of the music/entertainment industry always a plus.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Ticketmaster Sales and SettlementsProcess the daily sales on our in-house accounting systemGaining an in depth understanding and knowledge of Client dealsPreparation and review of weekly settlements for clients in a timely mannerLiaising with clients and maintaining strong relationships by resolving queries promptlyMonitor Client Creditor reports and follow up older items for closureManagement Accounts and OtherPreparation of month-end corporate reports for Ticketmaster ticket metricsPreparation and posting of month-end journals within prescribed deadlinesMonthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts within strict deadlinesAssist with the internal and external statutory audit processOther ad-hoc projects and duties as requiredWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)ACA/ACCA/CIMA Student/Part-Qualified accountant, open to all levelsIT Proficiency a must, previous experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle a plus  Previous experience working in a finance departmentExperience of working in a multi-division and international company preferred.Great teammate with strong communication and social skillsCommercially astute with strong analytical skillsStrong problem-solving skills including the ability to identify and prevent potential problems, as well as challenge and improve existing processes.Strong attention to detail and knowledge of accounting basicsHighly motivated and dynamic – ability to work to deadlines and achieve targets in a time-conscious mannerProfessional appearance and attitudeYOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)  Proactive attitudeSelf-Starter, capable of working both on their own initiative and as part of team.Ability to remain positive and calm under pressure.Works well in a team environment and always willing to help othersAn ongoing interest in solving and improving financial issuesHands-on with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic environmentPossesses excellent organisation and time management skills and can manage multiple assignments concurrently.TICKETMASTER VALUESReliability – We understand that fans and clients rely on us to power their live event experiences, and we rely on each other to make it happen.
