The Role:Responsible for assisting the Accounting Team with auditing shows. Also maintaining good communication with the Talent Department and assisting them with any show related needs.What You’ll Need:Bachelor’s or Associate degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred)At least two years cash handling and/or auditing experiencePrevious experience in Accounts Payable and general ledgerPoint of Sales experience, preferably MicrosProficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)Ability to communicate with staff and managementPrevious Retail, Restaurant or Music Hall Accounting experienceAbility to work 8+ hours daily, Monday – Friday during normal business hours. Normal business hours in this case are 10am – 6pm. You may be required to work late, or on a weekend and/or holiday during month end close. Month end close consists of the last day of the month through the first week of the month. Must be able to multi-task, follow up, communicate with staff/management in a positive manner, be organized and meet strict deadlines.What You’ll Do:Recording manual checks, wires and taxes paid in Oracle.Booking all cash and Verifone payments for all venues when necessary.Maintaining communication with all venues and their cash needs and maintain organized spreadsheet of all cash.Facilitate band payments and manage all related paperwork (wires, checks, tax w/holding).
