Job Title: Sr. Sales Development Representative (SDR)

You excel at creating and managing leads through the sales pipeline while partnering with sales and marketing to achieve and exceed goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive the outreach execution process, communicating the value of Verana to prospective customers, conducting introductory phone calls and emails to determine if there is a sales opportunity
Responsible for sales pipeline development by increasing the lead acquisition
Once there is an opportunity defined partner with sales to seamlessly hand over the necessary information to sales to move the deal through the funnel to closed won
Contact leads by sending customized internal email sequences with the goal of booking a call
Write compelling and creative copy to specific personas that communicates the value of Verana and establish intent and demand
Iterate on your efforts to determine the most effective and efficient way to communicate our value proposition
Meet monthly and quarterly goals
Develop a strong understanding of Verana’s ideal customer personas, internal case studies and white papers, services and product offerings
Partner closely with marketing on various campaigns and content initiatives as well as sales to ensure target account activity alignment
Basic Requirements:
Proven SDR experience and track record of achieving and exceeding time-sensitive targets and goals
Critical thinker who is able to consider creative approaches to message and get in touch with cold leads
Ability to message and target various personas, understand our three therapy areas and indications in order to communicate the right message about Verana to the right audience
Strong intuitive, self-aware with a high IQ and capable of asking the right questions at the right time to gain a better understanding of the best prospective client and their needs
Genuine alignment with Verana’s mission and a passion for serving clients and partnering with cross functional teams
Has SalesForce experience and has the ability to log all outreach efforts
1-3 years experience as an SDR
