Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this individual will oversee the growth marketing function and collaborate with sales and senior leaders across the company to deliver measurable and meaningful impact as the company continues to grow in multiple markets. The person in this highly visible role will oversee multiple go-to-market techniques that accelerate growth, including high-volume digital demand generation, product-led-growth and product-led-sales, account-based marketing, sales plays, and channel demand. They will exhibit a quantitative approach to measuring success and prioritizing the highest impact strategies for their team to maximize ROI. The position involves frequent executive level presentations, leadership of cross-company initiatives, and a close alignment between Marketing, Sales, and the Product teams. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience marketing to software developers, testers, and leaders of development teams.  Responsibilities Manage the leadership team who oversee growth marketing: including core integrated marketing campaigns, digital marketing, PLG and self-service eComm, account-based programs, and international programs Oversee the strategy and global growth marketing plan including multi-solution, multi-routes-to-market, in an environment that generates >100k leads/quarter as well as highly target account demand, in order to achieve SmartBear’s objectives  Be an integral member of the marketing executive team - your “First Team” - comprising the leaders of product marketing, brand, web and digital experience, and program management to ensure marketing remains a driving force of company growth Manage the team’s overall budget and calibrate program type and geographic mix to continually deliver the most efficient possible ROI across a broad portfolio of campaign types and routes to market Maintain alignment with sales leadership to ensure we are optimizing lead and demand quality and volume to maximize conversion, and that the sales team is maximizing potential of the marketing campaigns, tools, and tactics to their benefit Create and deliver executive and board-level analyses of the growth marketing function, results, and efficiencies Develop growth models for new product and feature launches and integrations, as well as capabilities acquired through M&A activities Optimize our marketing technology stack to ensure we are maximizing usage, adoption, and benefits from our tooling, and that we are investing in the right new tools to drive growth Lead the strategy for communication streams to our database and audience segmentations Drive an every-evolving demand portfolio as we expand into new routes to market, including enterprise targeted sales motions, new channels, and new marketplaces Qualifications: 10-15 years of experience in business-to-business marketing in a SaaS software company with enterprise scale, preferably leading growth marketing for at least 8 years Excellent leadership skills with the ability to extract high performance from a talented team Executive and impactful communication skills tailored to our SVP and C-Suite audiences Experience working with a high-velocity inbound model with a significant digital, product trial motion as well as self-service PLG and ecommerce Experience supporting and helping to grow a solution-based, enterprise sales motion Experience leading account-based marketing Familiar with Marketo, Salesforce, and 6Sense or similar solutions Comfortable leading a global team across multiple time zones and countries Comfortable creating structure in a fast-moving and sometimes unstructured environment through excellent program management and prioritization.
