About the Job The Senior Software Engineer’s role includes designing, maintaining, evaluating, and architecting software for web product features and experiences in order meet customer needs and user expectations. You will work closely with other seasoned engineers to design and produce innovative and responsive web applications and lead the development of the next generation of our systems and features. The salary range for this position is $165,000- $170,000. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. What You’ll Do -  Understand, collect, and translate user requirements to create speficifications and build amazing web user experiences and web applications through provision of technical insight. -  Design, develop, plan, and coordinate the deployment of enhanced software solutions for web applications. -  Develop models and procedures to instill high standards of code quality and documentation, ensuring that systems are maintained, performance is optimized, and systems are stable. -  Research and develop clean, maintainable code and perform peer code reviews to test, troubleshoot, assess, and evaluate the performance of designs and features. -  Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. -  Lead and mentor team members to promote engineering excellence. What We’re Looking For -  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering. -  At least six years of commercial software development experience. -  At least three years of development experience in front end stack including Typescript, React, and Redux/Mobx. -  Demonstrable experience with micro front ends, Styled System and Sytled Components, React Hooks, Typescript, and Javascript (ESNext) concepts, front end testing concepts, Webpack 5, Module Federation Plugin, Storybook, Jenkins, Git, AWS. -  Experience building scalable, reliable, and high-performance web applications. -  Prior experience working with a consumer internet company.
