Learn more at  www.doubleverify.com . What you’ll do We're seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to support our organization in the Americas region. The Associate HR Business Partner will take a true partnership approach, contributing to both tactical and strategic levels as a trusted advisor to lower level managers and an advocate for employees. The Associate HR Business Partner will participate on issues involving talent assessment, succession planning, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, employee and management development, compensation planning, performance management, and employee engagement. Support the HRBP Americas team in many aspects of people matters and gain a deep understanding of the business to support the organizational changes that will help us reach our goals together. Coach managers on employee related matters and escalate more complex matters, where necessary. Partner with managers on effective performance management and assist the HRBP team on investigations, mediations, and terminations. Lead the voluntary exit process and exit interviews for specific levels in the organization. Direct managers and employees to appropriate guidance channels and act as a point of escalation for key HR matters or issues that arise. Understand and gain exposure to people data generated by the HR Operations team to help the HRBP team and the business make informed people decisions. Responsible for all employment transactions within the US, including: escalated pre-employment hires, terminations, pay changes, reporting structure changes, promotions, relocations, etc. Support the execution of HR’s strategy and overarching goals on talent, resourcing, engagement, DEIB, and culture in alignment with the business priorities to drive results. Manage compliance related activities including background checks, I-9 verifications, employee handbook, and audits related to all statutory and legal requirements for the US. Support the Sr. Director of HR Business Partners in the Americas region as needs arise. Propose and develop creative solutions to challenges that are identified through an understanding of the business and elevate the conversations that are taking place across the organization. Participate or lead any ad hoc projects. Who you are Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. 3+ years of relevant progressive experience and proven track record of success in roles focused on HR generalist/Associate HR Business Partner work, preferably at a high-growth or software company. Experience in technology, media, advertising, marketing sectors is a plus. General understanding of HR best practices and basic knowledge of labor laws, including CA and NY. HR experience in Brazil, Mexico and/or Canada is a plus. Experience with Workday or ADP is preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast paced and dynamic environment with ambiguity and change; adapting to and being a champion for positive change. Skilled at building credibility and effective relationships, and is a strong collaborator. Must have experience with performance management and exposure in aspects of employee relations. Experience supporting product, engineering, and commercial is a plus. Analytical reasoning and solution-focused problem solver that thinks critically and independently to drive action. Demonstrates solid judgment in risk assessments relative to the business. Stays current on emerging regulation and requirements and assesses impact on company policies, procedures and employees. Excellent problem solving, influencing and effective communication skills in conflict management. Innovative in approaching situations and is an advocate for change. Ability to comfortably interact with employees of all levels of experience and seniority, across the organization. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $68,000 - $129,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
