The ideal candidate is a brilliant problem solver, quick study, self starter, has ability to build simple visualizations for sophisticated data sets, and is an excellent communicator with a keen eye for extraordinary design and ability to achieve it. The candidate possesses that rare blend of interaction design, visual design, and rapid-prototyping skills. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 4+ years work experience crafting extraordinary user interface design in web, mobile-web, and iOS app experiences. An excellent on-line portfolio showcasing user experience and visual design work for desktop and touch devices. Ability to communicate design concept ideas through sketches and wireframes. Highly skilled in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote and other design tools. Ability to prototype in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AfterEffects, or other tools Experience in crafting iOS app experiences from start to finish as a visual and UI designer with familiarity of iOS development. Able to function independently and in a team environment. Passion for an iterative design process, inspired by group critique. Strong collaboration skills. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. A passion for Apple, its products, and its customers is a requirement. Description Description From brainstorming through implementation, this team member will work in collaboration with engineers, data scientists and other health authorities to build simple and flawless experiences by distilling product requirements and user goals into sketches, wireframes and experimental prototypes.
The ideal candidate will help shepherd ideas from conception to release, advocating for clean and understandable solutions along the whole journey. S/he is an diplomat with strong communication and organizational skills who is willing to prove her/himself within a company of talented individuals. This person should be patient, understanding, ego-free and eager to give and receive constructive feedback. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts or similar preferred Additional Requirements Additional Requirements • Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, and can lead multiple projects under minimal direction. • Experience with health apps/programs/data is not vital but valuable. • The ability to build consumer-friendly data visualizations for sophisticated data is a plus. • Animation experience is a plus. • This is a site-based role. Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
