Apple’s SoC (system-on-chip) Silicon Validation Team drives characterization and debug of Apple products. We are searching for a Mac Network & Systems Administrator to help scale our dynamic team utilizing your task focused and detail oriented skills to help ensure the success of Apple products, in addition to working cross-functionally with internal Apple teams to ensure that our lab environment meets reliability and performance expectations. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience with Mac hardware & the MacOS operating system TCP/IP Networking (IPs, subnets, network protocols, VPNs) Debugging Mac & network issues Function and use of basic network debugging tools (ping, traceroute, MTR) DNS and nslookup Experience working in a customer service organization Description Description This Network & Sys Admin role will help scale our team by servicing helpdesk requests and participating collaboratively in additional related projects. You will be responding to users and talking them through debugging steps, seeking out answers for more tricky issues from established documentation, senior staff and corporate technical support organizations, and coordinating with other network related debugging, design and support collaborations. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $36.95 and $55.45/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
