Senior System Software Engineer

Do you enjoy working with the customer and can drive your own work?  If the answer is yes, please keep on reading.We are now hiring a Senior System Software Engineer focusing on embedded software and platform solutions for self-driving platform architectures. As an NVIDIAN, you’ll be part of a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work.   What you’ll be doing:Collaborate with software, hardware and arch teams to design, implement, integrate, validate and optimize software on NVIDIA's DRIVE self-driving platform Work directly with customers and partners to take solutions based on NVIDIA DRIVE platform to production.  Work on-site with the customerPort and integrate device drivers for SoC (System on a Chip)’s, sensors, and cameras for the DRIVE platforms Drive release integration and resolve production issues in DRIVE software stack Optimize performance for various BSP & platform software components Work with NVIDIA technologies and API’s  Work on multiple customer projects What we need to see:Familiarity with embedded software, RTOS, and OS fundamentals MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field with proven experience on embedded systems, with focus on Imaging pipeline Excellent programming knowledge in C, C++ and Python Familiarity with source control systems (git, Perforce)  Good understanding of Linux, Android, or Real-time operating systems Experience in working and interacting with customers Ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms Ability to take a customer request, find the best solution, implement and deliver it. 5 + years of experience in working with software development within the automotive industryWays to stand out from the crowd:Ability to work independently Experience in developing kernel and user mode drivers in BSP, HAL for HW accelerators or AutoSAR softwareExperience in Platform bring up and BSP SoftwareTrack record integrating and delivering functional and performant real-time and/or distributed systems
