Job Requisition ID #23WD73634Position OverviewThe Autodesk Construction Solutions group is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to develop world-class commercial web applications used by construction companies to increase efficiency and reduce the high amount of waste produced during construction. If you are a software engineer with experience in web application development and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced team with state-of-the-art technologies, we would love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesInvolved with all aspects of software development. Developing with quality and working to create and maintain the most reliable, secure and performant web applications for our customers by leveraging cutting-edge technology.Write clean, reliable and secure code in different languages and technologies (mostly TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML and CSS 3).Develop and maintain Unit Tests and E2E Tests; strive to automate testing as much as possible.Partner closely with product managers, product owners, software architects and other stakeholders to iteratively turn high level requirements into product enhancements that are delivered to customers incrementally and continually.Ensure the delivery of high-quality code by following best practices like peer code reviews and code standards.Document and present your ideas and solutions accurately and thoroughly.Minimum QualificationsBSc in Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science is a typical qualification, but we are open to candidates who took other paths into the world of software engineering.Experience as a software developer using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML and CSS 3.Solid understanding of JavaScript internals and fundamentals.Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).Good understanding of source code management using GIT.Experience working on agile software projects with short release cycles.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills - you need to be comfortable communicating with many different people in the business.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Mobx, Redux and Webpack is a plus.Familiar with REST API development in a distributed, Service Oriented Architecture (microservices architecture) using Node.js.Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud infrastructure technologies.Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience working with a deployment pipeline based on cloud native technologies (Docker).The Ideal CandidateYou are a fast learner and keen to work with latest tools and technologies available.
