Senior Research Scientist, LLM and Foundation Models

We are now looking for a Senior Research Scientist in LLM and Foundation Models:NVIDIA is searching for outstanding researchers to accelerate large language model, vision language model and generative AI. You will be part of an amazing collaborative research team that consistently publishes at the top venues in machine learning, computer architecture, and systems. Your contributions have the chance to create real impact on our products.What you'll be doing:Research, design and accelerate large language models, vision language models and generative AI.Publish original research.Collaborate with other team members and teams, mentor interns.Present at conferences and eventsTransfer technology to product groupsCollaborate with external researchersWhat we need to see:PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EECS or related field or equivalent experience5+ years for relevant research experience.Extensive research experience in large language models / vision language models.Familiar with model compression and acceleration techniques: pruning, quantization, distillation, neural architecture searchOutstanding publication track record at flagship conferences (ie. NeurIPS, ICLR, MLSys, ISCA, Micro, etc)Excellent programming skills with Python and C++; parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) is a plusStrong communication skillsIntelligent machines powered by AI computers that can learn, reason and interact with people are no longer science fiction. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
